Interrogation chair
This is an implement basic to the art of the inquisitor. The victim was seated on it naked and the straps were slowly tighten, so that the spikes entered the flesh. The effect of the spikes on the victim who is often naked requires no comment. During the questioning, the procedure can be made more productive by rocking or hitting. The seat was often made of iron and could be heated by a brazier or a torch. Today this is accomplished by electricity.
